Waking up with a cold when you're not sick
Morning after morning, we woke up with a stuffy nose, itchy eyes, and irritated skin. Not sick, but everyday symptoms. We washed the sheets at 60 degrees and aired out the room, yet it persisted.
When we went looking for the reason why, we ended up with something microscopic: dust mites. Millions of them live deep in your mattress, and their faeces are the most common indoor allergen. Your duvet cover can be washed, but your mattress cannot.
So we built the technology to address it
We didn't want just another vacuum cleaner. We wanted to tackle the mite itself, where it lives. That became the MiteMaster line: three mechanical steps that work together. An integrated UV-C lamp provides additional surface hygiene.
